Handicrafts is very common in Guatemala's culture. This beautiful and unique owl is made out of clay and hand painted by locals. Owls represent good luck, abundance and prosperity. The owl has an opening on the back of its head. It can be use for coin bank or for home decor. Traditionally in Guatemala, families will filled the owl with change through the year and by the end; they made a bigger opening or breaking the owl and spending the change.
